In recent months, the Faculty of Dentistry has been immersed in the accreditation process for the following degree programmes: the University Master's Degree in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and the University Master's Degree in Dentistry Research. This process is described in the Framework for the Verification, Monitoring, Modification and Accreditation of official degree programmes (MVSMA) established by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU)
On 18 and 19 February 2021, the Faculty of Dentistry received a virtual visit from an external evaluation committee, appointed by AQU Catalunya, with the aim of evaluating the development of the degree programme.
The two degree programmes passed the accreditation process successfully. This is essential so they can maintain their official status. In addition, the external committee highlighted a set of strengths and good practices that guarantee that the degree programmes function well, highlighting the quality of the information made public and the excellence of the material resources (computers/ digital equipment and resources) that students have at their disposal.
The Faculty of Dentistry will continue to work to maintain and improve the academic quality of the programmes that are part of its course catalogue.
Finally, the Faculty Board would like to thank all the members of the university community who worked with us throughout the process, especially those who directly participated during the visit.
