Course reservation and enrolment

Course reservation

  1. If accepted you will have 15 days to reserve a place. This is done by paying 20% of the total cost of the academic year.
  2. If you do not reserve a place within the allotted period, you will lose your right to a place. Your place will be awarded to an aspiring candidate on the waiting list, in the order established during the selection process.
  3. We will reserve your place once you have paid 20% of the enrolment fee, whereupon it may not be filled by any other student.
  4. We will reimburse the full amount of the reservation fee to any aspiring candidates who fail to pass the National University Entrance Exams, where this is a requirement for admission to the degree programme. We will also reimburse the full amount of the reservation fee if you fail to fulfil the other requirements in the June sitting.
  5. If after reserving a place you give it up for reasons other than those referred to in the previous paragraph, you will forfeit the amount paid as compensation for any damages or losses incurred.
  6. You must pay the enrolment fee in full within the period established by UIC Barcelona. If you are accepted, failure to do so will be taken to mean that you reject your place, in which case the terms of the previous paragraph will apply.
  7. If you pay the enrolment fee in full and subsequently give up your place, we will proceed as follows:
    1. If you do so before the start of the academic year you will be entitled to reimbursement of 80% of the amount paid.
    2. If you do so once the academic year has begun, and before 31 December, you will be entitled to 20% of the enrolment fee. The remaining amount will be withheld by UIC Barcelona as compensation for any damages or losses incurred.
  8. If for any reason there are no available places despite you having been accepted and paid the advance enrolment fee within the set time limit, we will refund twice the amount you deposited.
