Information for international students
UIC Barcelona welcomes international students from all over the world who wish to study in Barcelona.
These candidates may choose their course of study from among the degrees offered at the university, in addition to taking courses to improve their Spanish language skills.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has a special system for managing international admissions to its different centres and degree programmes.
Those interested in studying here will have to take the following steps:
- Complete the online application for admission
Application for admission - Submit the documents required to sit an entrance exam
Applicants without prior university studies
Applicants with uncomplete university studies
Applicants with completed university studies - Entrance exams
Applicants without degrees or diplomas must take the UIC Barcelona general entrance exam according to their background:
- Students from the European Union
- Students from outside the European Union
Candidates with degrees or diplomas must submit academic records and credentials or attend a personal interview. - Processing fees
- Course reservation and enrolment
- Level of Spanish language proficiency
- Legal certification of required documents
- Standardisation/official approval of required documents
