Teaching and learning activities

In person

- Training activity

  • S T-P. Theoretical-practical seminar. The purpose is to build and apply knowledge through interaction and activity. They are supervised monographic sessions with shared participation. The workplace is the "classroom-gym".

- Teaching methodology

  • ML. Master lesson. Transmission of knowledge and activation of cognitive processes of the student.

  • CM. Case method. Acquisition of learning through the analysis of real or simulated clinical cases of the profession.

  • SEP. Solving exercises and problems. Exercise, practice and testing of previous knowledge.

Attendance is mandatory during the theory and practice period. A maximum of 30% of the total hours that constitute the seminar are allowed, as a lack of attendance.

It must be punctual and respect the established schedules. During the class period, the use of the internship uniform provided at the beginning of the course for the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is mandatory.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

The evaluation will be carried out as follows:

1st Call

A minimum attendance of 70% will be required

Continuous evaluation

- Individual practice 50%

- Group practice  20%

- Theoretical evaluation 30%

2nd Call

Failure in the 1st call of any of the different parties implies the theoretical, practical and continuous recovery in the 2nd call.

The recovery of the continuous evaluation in the 2nd call will consist of an exam similar to the evaluation in the 1st call.

It is necessary to have a grade greater than or equal to 5 in the theoretical, practical and continuous evaluation to be able to carry out the weighted average.

The grading system will be used in accordance with current legislation. Currently, according to RD 1.125/2003 of 5 September.

0-4.9 Suspens. - 5,0-6,9 Approved. - 7.0-8.9 Notable. - 9.0-10 Excellent.

The mention of “Matrícula d’Honor” may be awarded to students who have obtained a grade equal to or greater than 9.0. Its number may not exceed 5% of the students enrolled in a subject in the corresponding academic year, unless the number of students enrolled is less than 20, in which case a single Honor Enrolment may be granted.
