Observatory of the Invisible

An immersive art and spirituality experience

The Observatory of the Invisible (OI) is a summer school for students from different artistic disciplines, developed through an immersive art and spirituality experience at the Monastery of Guadalupe, Caceres.

It is carried out through practical disciplinary workshops in which each student signs up and participates with a renowned artist.

2023 edition: “Mary, hidden river, temple of art.” 17 to 22 July.

The following disciplinary workshops are offered in this edition:

  • Ignacio Yepes - Music
  • Nino de Elche - Vocal expression
  • Jesús Montiel - Scripture
  • Antonio Ruz - Dance
  • Samlo - Drawing
  • Benjamín Cano - Architecture
  • Valentín Vallhonrat - Commissariat

There will also be concerts, recitals, exhibitions by workshops and interdisciplinary artistic evenings.

Location: Monastery of Guadalupe, Caceres

The Observatory of the Invisible is held at the Monastery of Guadalupe, Caceres, historical centre of spirituality and artistic creation in which the best pictorial, sculptural, architectural and musical tradition is brought together surrounded by authors of the standing of Zurbarán, Goya, El Greco or Luca Giordano.

Attendees will live in the cloister of the Guesthouse, and the workshops will take place in the Monastery facilities. The interdisciplinary nature of the meeting offers the opportunity to live together with more than 100 students and professionals and form bonds and make memories.
