Entitled “Developments and Challenges in Palliative Care: Innovation and Results”, the new edition of the International WeCare Chair Workshop will feature experts who will share with the attending professionals the latest developments in palliative care, as well as practical resources for addressing existential and spiritual suffering in patients with advanced illnesses.

The programme covers topics such as palliative care in advanced heart failure (European model and clinical integration); talking about death; challenges in palliative care recruitment; cinema therapy; spirituality and forgiveness; supporting the wish to die (professional self-confidence and simulation); and perinatal palliative care, concluding with a discussion session.

Intended for professionals, educators and researchers in the field of palliative care, the workshop organised by the WeCare Chair once again provides a space designed to offer participants practical ideas, concrete tools and a human, evidence-based perspective to improve care for patients and their family members.
