1st International Scientific Seminar “The New Longevity: Challenge and Opportunity”
The UIC Barcelona Experience Campus, in partnership with the European Federation of Older Students, is organising the 1st International Scientific Seminar “The New Longevity: Challenge and Opportunity”, which is due to take place at Calonge Castle (Girona) from 23–25 October.
The aim of this event is to become a forum for interdisciplinary reflection on the challenges and opportunities that population ageing brings to areas such as health, education, public policy, business and social cohesion.
The programme includes talks by prestigious experts such as Dr Javier Yanguas, scientific director of “La Caixa” Foundation’s Elderly Programme, and Margaritis Schinás, vice-president of the European Commission (2019–2024).
