MORE ABOUT THE CAMPUS AND STUDENTS

More and more active people are reaching retirement age in good health and with many expectations and projects they want to undertake. Society needs to take advantage of this energy, talent and experience.

In this regard, people who reach retirement age need to remain active and hold specific objectives, maintain and increase their personal network, and carry out new projects. It is a very appropriate time to go to university, a time that offers us this opportunity.

UIC Barcelona is launching the Experience Campus for the third consecutive year, aimed at mature students, using methodologies from the most advanced universities in this field. Based on academic rigour, with individual attention, varied subjects are taught that respond to different personal interests and a methodology that enhances participation and provides tools in the psychological and instrumental field that allow people to remain active at this new stage in life.

In an environment that encourages enthusiasm, the Experience Campus offers an opportunity to become part of the university community, research groups and also to participate in all types of activities.

The open day is for people who are approaching, have reached, or are reaching retirement age, but also for all kinds of people who could be interested, such as managers of departments, organisations that work with older people, family members, etc.
