The 9th edition of “Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes”, an interuniversity competition in which doctoral students are required to explain, in just four minutes and in simple language that must be readily understood by a non-specialist audience, the research behind their thesis, is now underway.

This competition is divided into two phases. In the first, each university holds an internal competition to select the best candidate who will represent the university. In the second, the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi) organises a final competition featuring all Catalan universities.

On 13 May at 17.30, the internal competition at UIC Barcelona will be held on-site in the Aula Jardí on the Barcelona Campus, while the interuniversity final at the FCRi will take place in June.
