PsicoformaT conference – ‘Mental health in sport: a shared responsibility’
The Department of Psychology and the Salud y Persona Foundation, in collaboration with the Blanca Foundation, are organising the PsicoformaT conference: “Mental health in sport: a shared responsibility”, to be held on 18 June at 11.00 in the Aula Magna on the Barcelona campus.
The event aims to share, together with leading organisations in the field of sport, the principal risks associated with mental health, with a particular focus on issues such as eating disorders, bullying, abuse and the emotional impact of sporting practice, whether at amateur or elite level. All of this will be approached from a perspective centred on prevention and the promotion of mental wellbeing.
The conference will feature both first-hand testimonies from elite athletes and contributions from mental health professionals, who will share their knowledge and experience, creating a space for reflection and learning.
