The UIC Barcelona Singing Contest aims to establish itself as a space for professional development, offering young singers the opportunity to grow not only on stage but also through high-level training activities.

Dr Carolina Estrada Bascuñana, director of the contest, will present the objectives and structure of this year’s edition, with particular emphasis on the masterclasses, panel discussions and innovative workshops that combine musical craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

The session is intended for contest participants, but those interested in attending as observers may register free of charge via the following form.

• 10.00 – 11.00 · Masterclass with Josep Bros
• 11.00 – 12.00 · Joint masterclass with Josep Bros and Ricardo Estrada
• 12.15 – 13.00 · Panel discussion: “The artistic agent”, with Carlos Caballé, J. Bros and R. Estrada
• 13.00 – 14.00 · Disklavier workshop for singers, led by Laura Vázquez. This workshop will feature the Bösendorfer Grand Piano 214 Vienna Concert Disklavier edition – an instrument equipped with Yamaha’s most advanced technology.
• 15.00 – 17.00 · Masterclass with soprano Carmen Bustamante
