Assessment method
An online self-assessment test will be carried out at the end of the course so that students can assess the achievement of their personal goals and their knowledge of the content of the course.
Who is it aimed at?
This course is intended for professionals who wish to acquire both basic and advanced knowledge of dental and implant rehabilitation during an intensive one-week programme.
Presentation
An intensive five-and-a-half-day programme designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of dental and implant-supported rehabilitation, including hands-on practice.
Course objectives:
This course is intended for dental professionals seeking to acquire knowledge of implant and tooth-supported prosthodontics, progressing from basic concepts to the management of complex cases. The course combines theoretical instruction with practical exercises using working models.
Learning outcomes
Students will gain theoretical knowledge of tooth-supported rehabilitation using veneers and inlays/onlays/overlays, alongside practical training in tooth preparation and cementation techniques for these restorative procedures.
For implant-supported prostheses, the course will cover diagnosis, use of the facebow and both analogue and digital articulators, prosthetic components, types of fixed prostheses (single-unit, partial, and full-arch), removable prostheses (overdentures), occlusion, biomechanics, provisionalisation, restorative materials, CAD–CAM technology, and more. Practical sessions will include demonstrations of digital facebow use, overdenture resin application, and immediate loading and aesthetic restoration of a single implant.
By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge required to treat patients requiring dental or implant rehabilitation.
