Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to deal with highly complicated cases both in terms of surgery and implantology. With this objective in mind, students will receive a high-quality education both at a theoretical and practical level, as well as in the area of research. In the field of implantology, not only will the students look at surgery, they will also receive training in the areas of case planning, guided prosthodontic surgery and rehabilitation.

In order to join the Master’s course students must bring the following equipment with them:
1. General Instrumental:
- SLR digital camera with flash override
- Game of mirrors and contrastador (black background) for intraoral photography.
- Laptop.
- Safety glasses.
- Optional: Magnification.
- To access the CUO every student will be expected to wear a protective face screen and use total protection goggles, except if they are wearing prescription glasses or magnifying loupes, in which case the total protection glasses will not be necessary.

4. To access the University Dental Clinic (CUO), students must bring:
- Personal protective face shield
- Full protective goggles, except in the case of wearing corrective glasses or magnifying glasses, in which case full protective goggles will not be necessary. All other special protective equipment will be provided by the clinic.

Clinical Simulation and New Technologies ClassroomNew clinical simulation classroom: with this step, virtual reality is introduced into student training, enhancing their education while also serving as a valuable tool in new teaching methodologies. This is another step forward in innovation and the improvement of student training. This laboratory, together with the preclinical laboratory, allows students to practice dentistry with great realism before working on actual patients.

Exclusive Laboratory for CAD CAM TechnologyPioneers in digital dentistry, the Faculty has embraced digitalization and, among other resources, has an exclusive laboratory for CAD CAM technology. The equipment in this laboratory includes milling machines, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, design software, a ceramic furnace, a zirconia sintering furnace, CBCT and iCat, Teckscan, Z4 laptops, and Z4 computers.

Research LaboratoryUIC Barcelona has six modern laboratories, one of which is specifically dedicated to dental research. Additionally, the other laboratories provide practical and simulation environments that complement training, ensuring that students gain a comprehensive and high-quality experience in all aspects of their academic education.

Preclinical LaboratoryThe preclinical laboratory, a high-tech facility, features 95 dental simulators equipped with phantom heads—tools that simulate the oral cavity—as well as X-ray machines and digital radiology equipment for hands-on dental training.

Admission criteria
- Personal interview: The personal interview will be carried out with the coordinator, director and professors of the Master’s degree. Academic merits will be valued, as will the ability to work in a team and professional experience.
- Theoretical test: Theory test of multiple choice answers about oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- English test: This involves reading a text in English and then summarising it. An oral exam (First Certificate level recommended).

- Pre-enrolment form.
- A certified copy of the relevant undergraduate degree*.
- Transcript of grades (original or certified copy)*.
- Photocopy of National Identity Document (DNI) or passport.
- Receipt for payment of €90 by bank transfer**.
- Curriculum vitae with courses and conferences attended.
- Letter/s of recommendation.
*For students from outside the European Union, both the academic record and the degree certificate must be processed through diplomatic channels or bear The Hague Apostille.
Candidates in the last year of their degree programme must provide a list of the qualifications they obtained before their registration date.
