Introduction

This programme is designed for students who wish to obtain comprehensive professional training and immerse themselves in the networks of two leading countries (Spain and the United States of America) in the field of arts administration and cultural management. Up to 5 UIC Barcelona students per semester may enroll in this unique and selective programme.

  2. Degree Pathway Program PLUS a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management
    Master’s in Arts and Cultural Management at UIC Barcelona
    3 trimesters (October - July)
    60 ECTS

    Master of Science in Arts Administration at BU
    2 semesters: Spring (January – May) & Summer (June – August)
    48 ECTS (32 U.S. credits). If you choose selected elective subjects in fundraising within the BU curriculum, you may also earn a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management at BU

  3. Single master's degree PLUS a graduate certificate in arts administration: University Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management at UIC Barcelona
    3 trimesters (October - July)
    60 ECTS

    Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration at BU
    1 semester: Fall (September – December)
    24 ECTS (16 U.S. credits)

Whichever option you choose; you must complete the master's degree in Cultural Management at UIC Barcelona in order to qualify to travel to Boston for the rest of the programme.

Admission application at Boston University

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (240 ECTS)
  • Currently be enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at UIC Barcelona
  • Have an average mark of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 7-8 on a scale of 10
  • Have completed the University Master’s Degree at UIC Barcelona prior to studying in Boston
  • Have the required English proficiency of TOEFL 95 IBT or IELTS 7.0
