Creative cultural industries -the performing arts, music and the audiovisual and publishing industries- are based on a combination of creativity and production.Today these are cultural sectors which are growing rapidly, and this will continue into the future.
Professionals in these sectors should be aware of the work processes linked both to creation -theatre companies, dance, music, production- as well as the management and production of shows, festivals, cultural facilities and commercial products for material or digital production.For that reason, they need not only great sensitivity with regards to artistic creation and a knowledge of new trends, but also knowledge of the management tools that will allow them to design viable projects and companies.
This Postgraduate Degree in the Management of Creative Cultural Industries, taught in English, offers this double perspective: it covers the analysis of the creative cultural industries sector, and the specific work processes it involves, as well as providing the specific tools to manage culture.

Admission criteria
While all candidates who meet the access route requirements will be considered, acceptance will be determined based on the following criteria:
- University degree and transcript of records
- Professional and academic CV (previous experience is not compulsory, but it will be valued)
- Motivation letter
Reservation and enrolment
In order to reserve a place on the course, candidates who have received an official letter of admission must make an initial payment for the amount of 20% of the total postgraduate's degree fee (552 Euros).
The rest may be paid after the enrolment process.

*Following each step, the applicants will be notified if they have been:
a) Accepted: You will receive your acceptance letter along with instructions on how to pay the deposit and reserve a place. Acceptance will only be confirmed upon payment.
b) Placed on a waiting list: Your application will be reviewed again during the next call.
c) Not accepted
Documents submission must be complete in order to include the applicant in each admission call. If some documents are missing, your application will be kept until completed and reviewed during the next admission call.

FAQ
- Què són els crèdits ECTS?
El crèdit ECTS (Sistema Europeu de Transferència de Crèdits) és la unitat que serveix per comptabilitzar totes les activitats que duu a terme l’estudiant dins del procés de formació: hores de classe —teòriques i pràctiques—, hores d’estudi, seminaris, treballs, pràctiques i projectes, preparació i realització d’exàmens o altres proves d’avaluació. Cada crèdit ECTS equival a 25 hores de treball de l’estudiant.
- Quina diferència existeix entre el Màster i els postgraus en Gestió Cultural?
El Màster Universitari en Gestió Cultural de UIC Barcelona té una càrrega acadèmica i de treball més gran. Com a conseqüència, ofereix una visió més global de la gestió cultural que es complementa amb el projecte final de màster i les pràctiques professionals.
Els postgraus, pel seu format més reduït, són una opció òptima per a les persones que compaginen feina i estudi o bé realitzen paral·lelament altres cursos. Estan dirigits a graduats, llicenciats o diplomats que desenvolupen una activitat professional i volen ampliar la formació en àrees clau de la gestió cultural. Les assignatures que constitueixen el pla d’estudis dels diferents postgraus formen part del currículum acadèmic del Màster.
El Màster Universitari en Gestió Cultural de UIC Barcelona és una titulació oficial de postgrau adaptada a la normativa de l’Espai Europeu d’Educació Superior. Els postgraus són, a tota la UE, títols propis de les universitats que els imparteixen.
- Els postgraus tenen pràctiques externes? En cas contrari, es podrien pagar els crèdits de les pràctiques per poder-les cursar?
UIC Barcelona no ofereix pràctiques externes als estudiants dels programes de postgrau. Tampoc no es pot pagar la pràctica com a assignatura addicional al postgrau.
- Sent alumne de postgrau, em puc canviar al Màster i que se’m reconeguin les assignatures cursades?
En cas que un alumne de postgrau es vulgui canviar al Màster, l’acceptació de la seva sol·licitud dependrà de la data en què sol·liciti el canvi. No es podrà matricular al Màster si ha transcorregut més d’un mes des de l’inici de l’any acadèmic.
Si bé els alumnes de postgrau cursen les assignatures conjuntament amb els alumnes de Màster, aquestes no es poden reconèixer en el currículum del Màster, ja que no es tracta d’un títol oficial.- Puc cursar assignatures del Màster encara que no siguin del meu programa de postgrau?
Els alumnes de postgrau cursen les seves assignatures conjuntament amb els alumnes de Màster, tanmateix, no totes les assignatures del Màster estan incloses en el programa de postgrau. Per tant, els alumnes de postgrau no poden cursar assignatures de màster que no pertanyin al programa de postgrau.
En cas de voler realitzar una assignatura del programa de Màster que no pertanyi al postgrau, l’alumne té l’opció de matricular-se en aquesta assignatura com a “Formació contínua”. Totes les assignatures es poden cursar com a formació contínua.
- Puc assistir a les visites i activitats del Màster sent de postgrau?
El programa acadèmic del Màster Universitari i dels postgraus en Gestió Cultural de UIC Barcelona ofereixen conjuntament als alumnes visites d’estudi (study visits) i viatges professionals a institucions i equipaments culturals.
A més, els dos grups d’alumnes tindran conjuntament sessions magistrals o master classes a càrrec de professionals especialitzats del sector.
