Laboratory of Electroencephalography (EEG)

The electroencephalography (EEG) lab has an electromagnetically shielded and soundproof booth.

The lab is equipped with everything needed for electroencephalographic studies.

It features a:

  • 32-channel BrainAmp amplifier,
  • Brain Recorder software for data acquisition,
  • Brain Analyzer software for evoked potential analysis and frequency bands,
  • Two sets of 32 actiCAP active electrodes that can be mounted in three different cap sizes, and the
  • consumable material required for proper electrode placement.

In addition, the laboratory makes it possible to achieve teaching objectives by providing a space for practices for students to become familiar with electroencephalography techniques in the bachelor’s degree programmes in Psychology (in the subject Psychophysiology) and Bioengineering (in the subject Neurosciences).
