Teaching and Research Staff

The Department of Applied Linguistics, together with People Management, offers administration and service staff a series of free and subsidised training activities with the aim of promoting and increasing the use of English and Catalan at the university.

The enrolment period for second-semester courses ends 31 January 2023.

In addition, the Department of Applied Linguistics offers a language support service, open to PAS and PDI, with prior reservation. Tutorial sessions are 2 hours, schedule to be agreed.

These courses and activities are subject to a minimum number of students.

Preparatory courses for the C1 and C2 level exams which consist of two familiarisation sessions with the official CLUC exams for Catalan and for exam content revision. These courses are linked to the interuniversity calls for official CLUC Catalan exams (obtaining certificates recognised by the Generalitat de Catalunya) that take place on the second Saturday in February (1st semester) and the second Saturday in June (2nd semester). The training course is free, unless otherwise specified.
