Dr Conrado Aparicio, a new member of the College of Fellows at the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering

The above mentioned researcher, an expert in biomaterials and dental implants, is joining the Faculty of Dentistry as part of the FBA Fellows Programme supported by the Bosch Aymerich Foundation.

Dr Conrado Aparicio, a researcher in the Faculty of Dentistry, has been chosen to be part of the group of new members of the College of Fellows in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (IAMBE). This appointment is one of the most significant professional distinctions that can be awarded at an international level, and recognises the achievements of the members of the IAMBE College of Fellows in research, practice or teaching in the fields of engineering and medicine and the role they play as pioneers in new and developing technological fields; by making significant progress in traditional fields of medical and biological engineering, or developing and implementing innovative approaches to bioengineering teaching.

Dr Aparicio, an expert in biomaterials and dental implants, is one of three researchers who are joining UIC Barcelona through the FBA Fellows Programme supported by the Bosch Aymerich Foundation. Specifically, Dr Aparicio will undertake his teaching and research work in the Faculty of Dentistry.
