Dr Lluís Giner re-elected president of CRADO
The dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at UIC Barcelona has renewed his mandate as president of the Conference of Deans and Academic Heads of Dental Faculties and Schools in Spain, a role he will hold for a further four years.
At the ordinary meeting held on 17 June, the Conference of Deans and Academic Heads of Dental Faculties and Schools in Spain (CRADO) renewed its permanent board, with Dr Lluís Giner, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at UIC Barcelona, re-elected as president of the organisation by majority vote.
With this renewal, Dr Giner will continue to lead CRADO for the next four years, reaffirming his commitment to the ongoing improvement of dental education in Spain and to collaboration among the 23 faculties and schools that make up this leading academic body.
“The support received from CRADO members is an incentive to continue working with rigour, academic vision and a vocation for service. In the coming years, we will continue to promote projects that contribute to the development and quality of dental training in our country,” said Dr Giner.
Dr Lluís Giner was first elected president in March 2021, after previously serving as secretary of CRADO. Since then, he has led several initiatives focused on teaching innovation, improving coordination between faculties, and strengthening ties with healthcare institutions and regulatory bodies in the dental profession.
