Once again UIC Barcelona appears in the prestigious ranking compiled by the El Mundo newspaper, which lists the fifty most demanded degrees by students and the five best universities where to study them. In this 21st edition of the ranking, the Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry is ranked among the top three in its category, along with the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Granada. Just behind UIC Barcelona are Alfonso X University and the University of Seville. In addition, UIC Barcelona is among the twelve best private universities in Spain.

To write this report, the newspaper analysed 25 selection criteria in detail, the opinions of 2,000 lecturers, and external studies (international rankings and reports for the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain, etc.).
