Miguel Vidal-Quadras, UIC Barcelona lecturer, recognised among Spain’s top lawyers by Chambers Global Guide 2025
The lecturer from the Faculty of Law has been named by the prestigious legal directory as one of Spain’s leading patent experts
The Chambers Global Legal Guide 2025, one of the world’s most respected legal directories—renowned for its rigorous and independent evaluation—has recognised lecturer Miguel Vidal-Quadras Trias de Bes, from the Faculty of Law at UIC Barcelona, as one of the top lawyers in Intellectual Property (patents).
Vidal-Quadras, a partner at Vidal-Quadras & Ramon, teaches Commercial Law on the Bachelor’s Degree in Law and the University Master’s Degree in Law and Legal Practice (MUAP) at the University. This year, the lawyer has also been named by the Best Lawyers directory, earning the title of “Lawyer of the Year” in Barcelona, in the category of Intellectual Property Law.
Chambers Global compiles its guide through a rigorous research process based on recommendations from in-house lawyers, external experts, and private practice lawyers. Its goal is to provide trusted information and reviews of the world’s top lawyers and law firms.
Vidal-Quadras is part of the Faculty of Law teaching staff which is made up of academics with expertise in different areas of law. A significant percentage of the faculty members are active professionals, working as lawyers, judges, registrars, notaries, and public officials, many of whom are affiliated with leading law firms, auditing firms, and international consultancies.
