Student Sara Chacón has won the award for Best University Curriculum 2019-2020, presented by the Catalan Society of Economists

The award is presented in recognition of the best academic trajectory from among all graduates from faculties of Economics across Catalonia

Former student from the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences Sara Chacón won the award for Best University Curriculum 2019-2020, presented by the Catalan Society of Economists. This year the awards ceremony was held online in order to comply with current public health measures, and all candidates from all universities were each acknowledged individually.

The ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Government of Catalonia, Pere Aragonés, the dean of the Catalan Society of Economists, Anton Gasal and its vice dean, Oriol Amat.

The award for Best University Curriculum is presented by the Catalan Society of Economists every year to the graduate who demonstrates the most impressive university curriculum in any of the disciplines taught at the faculties of economics and business administration at Catalan universities.

This is not the first time a former student from our Faculty has won this award, which includes three years’ free membership to the Catalan Society of Economists. Last year, the award was given to alumnus Clara Usandizaga, and Maria Nolla and Laia Villaró won in 2015-2016 and 2013-2014 respectively.
