Three UIC Barcelona students receive the Berkeley Summer Sessions programme grant to study in California

In this call for the Berkeley Programme at UIC Barcelona, three students from the bachelor’s degree programmes in Psychology and Law, and the Double Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Business Administration and Management (ADE) have been recipients of the three scholarships to study at the UC Berkeley Summer Sessions 2023, in the United States

Of the 30 student nominations submitted, and of the 11 finalists who completed the interview stage, the grants were awarded to Paula Bardaji Serra, Psychology student; Aran Estallo Agustí Law student; and Enric Masclans Planas, from the Double Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and ADE.

The Berkeley Summer Sessions programme is organised in such a way that several selected university students can study a series of subjects at the University of California, Berkeley, over a period of between three and six weeks in the summer.

This is an international programme offered to UIC Barcelona students every year. To access the programme, each candidate’s academic transcript is taken into account as well as the results of the personal interview.

UIC Barcelona has an agreement with UC Berkeley allowing students to participate in the Berkeley Summer Sessions programme. In addition to having the opportunity to study internationally at this renowned institution, in the top positions in global rankings, students can have the subjects taken officially recognised by their degree programme at UIC Barcelona.
