In the areas of knowledge, in this edition, the CYD Ranking has updated the results of degrees in the fields of Social Sciences: Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economy, Political Science, Sociology, History, Education and Law, and the CYD Ranking’s new incorporation, Journalism and Communication.
In the areas of knowledge, UIC Barcelona stands out in Business Administration and Management (ADE) occupying the 5th position of 59 Spanish universities, due to its high number of performance indicators.

In this 10th edition, the CYD ranking continues to grow and presents results from 80 Spanish universities, 29 areas of and 3.266 degree programmes. Participating universities represent 93% of the 86 teaching bachelor’s degree courses that are included in the Register of Universities, Centres and Qualifications (RUCT). Of these universities, 48 are public (100% of the representation) and 32 are private (89% of the total).

The CYD Fundación ranking is a tool that allows the quality of the Spanish university system to be measured and compared through the analysis of indicators, classified by performance groups and grouped into six categories: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international focus, contribution to regional development and employability.

The objective of the UIC Barcelona Statistical Data and Rankings Office is to measure the performance of different aspects of the University through data and evidence, allowing it to be visible both nationally and internationally through the social impact produced by rankings and listings.
