Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) has once again been recognised as one of the most transparent private universities in Spain, according to the results of the 2026 Transparency Assessment, prepared by Fundación Haz. In this edition, UIC ranks first among the 40 Spanish private universities evaluated, sharing the top position with Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

The University scored 55 out of a maximum of 56 points, equivalent to 98.2% compliance across the 28 indicators used to assess the transparency of information published voluntarily on private universities' websites.

These results enable UIC to retain the T*** seal for maximum transparency, a distinction awarded by Fundación Haz to institutions that achieve between 90% and 100% compliance with the indicators assessed.

UIC achieved full compliance in 27 of the 28 indicators analysed, standing out particularly in areas such as financial information, institutional governance, ethics and regulatory compliance, research and academic outcomes.

The University also performed well above the average for Spanish private universities, which in this edition reached 59% compliance, compared with UIC’s 98.2%.

This result confirms the University’s sustained progress and consistent performance in transparency. Since 2019, UIC has steadily improved its level of compliance, achieving the maximum score of 56 points in the 2024 and 2025 editions and maintaining its position at the top of the ranking in 2026.

With these results, UIC consolidates its position as one of Spain’s leading private universities in institutional transparency and reaffirms its commitment to good governance and accountability by providing the university community and society with access to rigorous, up-to-date and accessible information.
