Entrance exams

If you would like to study at UIC Barcelona you must pass the entrance exam. What does it involve?
 

General exam

1. Emotional aptitude test for Nursing, Medicine and Psychology Bachelor’s Degree.
2. English Test for bilingual Bachelor’s Degrees or with a high teaching load in English language: ADE English programme; Architecture, Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, Bilingual Early Childhood Education, Bilingual Primary Education, Dentistry English Program.
3. Personal interview with one of the directors of the degree programme.

*Depending on the degree, confirm with the admissions advisor.

Specific exam

1. Drawing and mathematics test for students seeking admission to Architecture degree programmes.
2. Specific chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology exam for Bioengineering and Biomedical Sciences.
3. Specific exam for students from a Higher Vocational Education and Training Course (CFGS) seeking admission to the Nursing or Dentistry programmes.
4. Catalan proficiency test for students seeking admission to Pre-Primary and Primary Education degree programmes.
5. Writing test for students seeking admission to the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
6. Mathematics test for Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration: Trigonometry, Equations and systems of equations, Domain, Continuity, Limits, Polynomials, Functions and algebra of functions, Derivatives.
7. Text analysis for Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies

If you pass the exams, you will receive an online acceptance letter/PDF that contains the official results of the admissions process and the steps you need to take to complete your enrolment.
 

If you wish to apply to two or more degree programmes

1. Register online for each of the degree programmes you wish to take.
2. Pay the processing fees.
3. Submit all the documentation in one go.
4. You must take the entrance exams that correspond to each of the degree programmes you wish to take.
