Introduction

The Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations offers a wide range of career opportunities in different fields of communication.

The subject Work Placement provides students their first contact with the job world and enables them to acquire professional experience in the field of Advertising and Public Relations. As a result, students may choose from a broad number of prestigious organisations in which to complete both curricular and extracurricular university work placements.

It provides students the opportunity to apply the concepts they learn in their classes and workshops in the real world. To make the work placement experience as efficient as possible, coaching is required both before and during the placement. Furthermore, there will be constant communication between the coach and the company supervisor assigned to monitor the person performing the work placement. This way, they can ensure that participants are meeting the established objectives in terms of both their assigned tasks and the learning and assimilation of knowledge and skills.
