Introduction
In the treatment planning subject, clinical endodontic cases are presented. The objective is to offer the student a global idea of all the steps that must be taken to achieve a correct diagnosis and subsequent satisfactory treatment.

Objectives
Understand all the steps to reach a certain diagnosis, and establish the most appropriate treatment in each situation. Acquire training and skills in oral presentation through the presentation of clinical cases by students. Know how to plan an endodontic treatment and determine its degree of difficulty.
Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme
- CN01 - Identificar amb precisió els processos tècnics més avançats relacionats amb l'endodòncia.
- HB03 - Gestionar la complexitat de cada cas endodòntic.
- HB05 - Aplicar els coneixements multidisciplinaris adquirits d'altres àrees (periodòncia, restauradora i ortodòncia) en un problema endodòntic.
- HB12 - Planificar un protocol definit i adequat davant d'un fracàs endodòntic.
- HB14 - Preparar, mitjançant una correcta argumentació prèvia, un pla de tractament mitjançant la presentació de casos clínics i la literatura més rellevant.
- HB18 - Exposar amb garanties i criteri científic el treball final de màster davant d'un tribunal.
- HB20 - Preparar un pla de tractament endodòntic adequat en funció d'una exhaustiva anàlisi clínica i radiogràfica.
Learning outcomes of the subject
- - Diagnòstic i Pla de Tractament en Endodòncia RESULTATS DE L'APRENENTATGE De títol – CN01, HB03, HB05, HB12, HB14, HB18, HB20 De matèria – L'alumnat serà capaç de: 1. Solucionar les complicacions que tingui l'alumnat de grau durant la realització de les pràctiques preclíniques. 2. Realitzar presentacions públiques dels seus propis casos clínics basats en la literatura científica, mitjançant la utilització correcta de la terminologia científica. 3. Debatre i raonar tècniques clíniques endodòntiques davant d'un públic especialitzat i no especialitzat d'una manera clara i sense ambigüitats. 4. Determineu el paper d'un endodoncista dins d'un equip interdisciplinari. 5. Planificar amb èxit, mitjançant anàlisi prèvia, qualsevol problema endodòntic, així com aquells directament relacionats amb l'odontologia restauradora i estètica. 6. Identificar i organitzar el material i l'instrumental endodòntic d'una forma precisa i ordenada. 7. Valorar diferents opcions terapèutiques davant d'una patologia pop-periapical d'acord amb la literatura científica. 8. Desenvolupar diferents estratègies d'aïllament del camp operatori per fer un tractament endodòntic i restaurador exitós.
Syllabus
Presentation of completed clinical cases or cases with different treatment options.
Teaching and learning activities
In person
The student will present a clinical case to the professors and peers. The student must justify and defend the decisions made based on the literature and the questions posed by the professors or peers.
The requirements for case presentations are:
1. Cases of high complexity in endodontics that test the diagnostic and therapeutic competence of an endodontic expert.
2. Cases that are unusual in diagnosis or treatment plan.
All cases must be presented in a logical and orderly manner. The case presentation must allow the student to express their thoughts on the procedures performed, their understanding of the treatment planning, and the use of literature to document and defend their knowledge in endodontics.
