Professional experience
Musicologist, violinist, composer, and sound technician. He specializes in historically informed performance (ESMUC) and has participated in and directed projects dedicated to recovering forgotten composers, such as Feminarum Aures and Lieux Inconnues. In parallel, he has taken part in experimental sound projects, including the post-rock band Purkinje and his personal project Kret. As a composer, he has created soundtracks for audiovisual works, most notably for the medium-length film La Veda, directed by Paco Chanivet (2018).His research as a musicologist focuses on musical meaning, hermeneutics, and ludomusicology, as well as on the study of Parisian domestic music of the 18th century (Bachelor’s Thesis, ESMUC) and the music of Orthodox liturgy (Trànsits, Museu de la Música de Barcelona). He is currently co-organizer of the Jornades ab Sentits at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, a member of the Laboratori d’Interpretació research group (ESMUC), and part of the LudoSpain working group, associated with SIBE (Iberian Society of Ethnomusicology).
