Professional experience
Born in France, she studied at the University of Lausanne, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences, Management option (equivalent to a degree in Business Administration and Management). Afterwards, she studied at the University of Barcelona for one year, completing the Master’s in Geography, Territorial Planning, and Environmental Management before preparing her PhD in the same field. In her doctoral thesis, she studied the concept of social mix. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Horacio Capel and Dr. Isabel Pujadas, and was completed in 2016.From the following year onwards, she has taught various courses at Catalan universities (University of Barcelona, University of Lleida), in both English and Spanish: Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility in the Tourism and Leisure Sector, Nature Tourism, Geography and History, Economic Geography, and Human Geography. She has also supervised and examined Master’s theses in Tourism and in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management, as well as Bachelor’s theses in Geography.
Since 2022, she has been an associate professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Barcelona, and since 2025, she has been teaching World Regional Geography at UIC. In addition to being a member of the Mediterranean Environmental Research Group at the University of Barcelona, she is also a member of the Catalan Society of Geography. Her main research interests focus on the following topics: social mix, segregation, housing policy, urban planning, tourism planning, and sustainability.
