Professional experience

Graduated in Art History from the University of Barcelona (1984), he has been head of the Department of Decorative Arts and Antiquities at Balclis Auction House since 2006 and has collaborated with the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona (MDhub) since 1984, focusing on the study and conservation of the glass collection. He has taught courses and given lectures on Catalan glass history, decorative arts, and 19th- and 20th-century Catalan painting at various institutions, and has curated notable exhibitions such as Vidres del 1500 al 2000 and Vidre d’artista. Art Nouveau i Art Déco. He is the author of numerous publications on decorative arts and glass, including the monograph El vidre català (2018), and has worked on the cataloging and documentation of collections and exhibitions at museums including the Museu del Disseny, Museu d’Història de Catalunya, Museu d’Història de la Ciutat, and Fundació Francisco Godia.
