Professional experience

Born in Barcelona on February 14, 1944. Studied ceramics at the Massana School in Barcelona and holds a degree in Sculpture, with doctoral courses on urban space at the University of Barcelona.

She has held solo and group exhibitions since 1966 in various locations in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, the Canary Islands, Seville, Pamplona, Gijón, etc.) and abroad (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, Slovakia, United States, Japan, Korea, Mexico, China, etc.).

She has received several awards and is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics based in Geneva and of the Work-Craft Council at UNESCO in Paris.

She has been invited by various public and private institutions to give seminars and lectures on large-format ceramics, particularly for public spaces.
Her works are included in various collections as well as in National and International Museums.
With a grant from the Generalitat of Catalonia, she carried out different studies on materials with sculptural intentions and their integration into public space.

Since 1988 she has been working on large-scale projects for urban spaces, in Barcelona (Plaça de la Font Castellana), in Manchester (Catalan Square), in Icheon, Korea (Memory Catalonia-Korea), as well as in public and private spaces in Catalonia and abroad.

Alongside her ceramic work, she has also been creating works on paper and graphic art since 1980.
