Professional experience
María Gámiz is a psychologist specialized in Positive Psychology. Her scientific interest focuses on the influence of character strengths on a person's health. Specifically, she has focused on the study of forgiveness as a prosocial behavior and on the development of intervention tools, through modeling, that facilitate its growth in any area of interpersonal relationships. She began her career as a university professor in 2011 at the UIC Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and is currently responsible for the Psychosocial Sciences subject in the Nursing degree and the Skills Laboratories in the Psychology degree.
