Education
Oscar Garcia Gimeno has a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2009). He specialized in Family and Community Medicine at the Joan XXIII Teaching Unit in Tarragona (2010-2014). He has received postgraduate training in Emergencies in Primary Care from the Universitat Catòlica de València (2014).
Professional experience
Oscar is a tutor of resident doctors and Associate Professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. He has worked as an Assistant Medical Doctor at the Centre d'Atenció Primària de Castelldefels (CASAP) for about 15 years. He is a teacher of the Physical Exploration Course for the Nursing and Community Association of Catalonia, course with more than 20 editions. He has actively participated in international conferences on primary care such as the European Forum for Primary Care or in the European Health Management Association.
