Professional experience

Post Doctoral Researcher in Breast Cancer – IrsoCaixa – IBEC, Barcelona 2024
• Processing and handling of biological samples (fresh tumor, blood samples and plasma/serum) from patients with metastatic breast cancer.
• 3D models: development and maintenance of organoids and spheroids for the study of tumor evolution in response to treatments and its immuno-oncology: co-cultivation of 3D models with various immune populations.
• Design of experiments, analysis and review of results.
• Cooperation with other researchers and oncologists within the multidisciplinary group. Participation in conferences.
• Registration of data for the development of databases of patients with breast cancer.
• Education about the role of research in our country for students and local communities.
Pre-Doctoral Researcher – IGTP 2016-2023
• Processing and subsequent analysis of biological samples (paraffin-embedded tumor, fresh tumor, blood and serum samples) from patients with colon cancer for the study of tumor biomarkers. Manipulation of numerous immortalized colon cancer cell lines.
• Design of experiments, analysis and review of results.
• Management of most molecular techniques used in a molecular research laboratory such as Western Blot, RT-qPCR, CRISPR-Cas9 techniques, ELISAs, LUMINEX…
• Collaboration in the preparation of summaries to apply for projects funded at Spanish and European level.
