All students and employees are able to apply for a UIC card which identifies them as UIC members.

What is it used for?

The UIC card has the following functions:

  1. It identifies you as a member of the University.

  2. It is wallet-sized and can be used to pay for services such as the cafeteria and the copy shop (photocopies and printing etc.)

  3. It is used for library loans.

  4. It provides access to some of the university's facilities: parking, some classrooms, laboratories and other restricted areas which require entrance to be controlled.

  5. If you want you have the option to turn the card into a 4B Maestro bank card as well. If you're interested in this service, you can come along to the Office for Private Universities in Barcelona in Banco Santander.
