Introduction

The Expert Programme in Advance Care Planning and Clinical Communication, based on the CARE Methodology, is an international online training programme designed for healthcare professionals who work with people with advanced illnesses and at the end of life.

Its aim is to provide practical tools for addressing complex care situations involving patients and families, delivering high-quality, structured and compassionate care without increasing professional burden.

The CARE Methodology, developed after more than 15 years of research and clinical practice, offers a clear and safe framework for interventions in highly complex emotional and clinical situations, guaranteeing effective communication and professional self-care.

Academic accreditation

Participants will receive an Expert Diploma awarded by UIC Barcelona, worth 10 ECTS credits.
