In view of the heavy rainfall and severe flood risk expected for tomorrow, Wednesday 9th September, and the Warning issued under Catalonia’s Special Emergency Plan for Floods (INUNCAT) by Civil Protection, UIC asks the entire university community to comply with all official instructions and recommendations and avoid all unnecessary travel.

In accordance with the University’s Warning protocols:

• All on-site academic and teaching activities are suspended, and we ask that everyone refrain from coming to campus.
• All planned assessments will be rescheduled. Students will be informed by their instructors or faculty about the new dates or alternative arrangements.
• PTGAS and PDI staff are advised to avoid travel, prioritising remote work in coordination with their supervisor.

Updates regarding the situation and any new instructions issued by the relevant authorities will be communicated through the University’s usual channels.
