Boston University lecturer Wendy Swart Grossman delivers a masterclass to students of the University Master's Degree in Cultural Management

The expert in strategy and innovation, who merges art with the business world, conducted a bootcamp on creative startups for students of the programme

On 19 March, students on the University Master's Degree in Cultural Management participated in a masterclass by Wendy Swart Grossman, lecturer at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. The masterclass, a result of the agreement between UIC Barcelona and the American university, was organised in a workshop (bootcamp) format under the title Creative Startup Bootcamp: From Idea to Impact. "The goal is to see how we can transform ideas into innovative solutions, improving our creativity, community relationships, capabilities, and self-confidence," explained the lecturer.

Swart Grossman, co-founder of Creative Re/Frame, a project that envisions a world where business and art join forces to generate economic, social, and cultural value, conducted this interactive workshop to encourage students to free their imagination and give voice to their own ideas. Through design thinking skills, students were able to tackle various problems as future cultural managers, aiming to create innovative and creative solutions.

The Master’s Degree in Cultural Management offers a double qualification in collaboration with Boston University, allowing students to continue their academic journey in the United States with a Master's in Science in Arts Administration from the American university.
