Dr María Milà, appointed new medical director of the HM Nens Hospital

This new appointment means the graduate of the UIC Barcelona University Master's Degree in Healthcare Management will be responsible for the digital transformation and the quality and safety of the patient, as medical director of the HM Nens Hospital of Barcelona
 

With 20 years of experience, María Milà has a degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona, Spain. She trained in paediatric oncology and haematology at the Vall d’Hebron Children’s Hospital and last year she completed her training with the University Master's Degree in Healthcare Management at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of UIC Barcelona.

She was previously appointed head of the paediatrics service at the Sagrat Cor University Hospital (2018) and the Quironsalud del Vallés Hospital (2020), and later joined management at the same centre. She will now be responsible for digital transformation and patient safety and quality at the children’s hospital of the Barcelona HM group, Hospital HM Nens.
