Dr Toni Mora participates in the 15th Workshop on Research in the Evaluation of Health Policies and Services in Granada

The dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Dr Toni Mora, presented research findings from the Institute for Research in Evaluation and Public Policies (IRAPP), focused on primary care within the healthcare system in Catalonia.

The presentation took place during the 15th Workshop on Research in the Evaluation of Health Policies and Services at the University of Granada, organised by the EvaluAES interest group of the Health Economics Association (AES). The four participating researchers shared studies related to healthcare management and public, environmental and community health.

Dr Mora presented the conclusions of the study “Digital Teleconsultation and Primary Care Efficiency: Evidence from a Staggered Rollout and Reinforcement Learning in Catalonia”. The study also involved David Roche, lecturer at UIC Barcelona.

The aim of the workshop was to disseminate the latest research in the field of health policy and service evaluation, fostering multidisciplinary exchange among researchers. This annual event has been held since 2012 in different institutions across the country. This year, the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Granada hosted the meeting.

Professor of Applied Economics since 2017 at UIC Barcelona, Dr Mora heads the Institute for Research in Evaluation and Public Policies (IRAPP), which seeks to improve individual and social decision-making in health and education through multidisciplinary research.
