The Faculty of Humanities launches a new course on fashion and society
The Faculty of Humanities at UIC Barcelona and the Pineda Foundation are jointly organising this blended learning course.
The programme focuses on learning about the social value of clothing and accessories, the origin and meaning of clothing rules and ways to present ourselves. Students will also study how trends start and how they mark the rhythm and dynamism of fashion, as well as some of the traits that define fashion as a cultural phenomenon.
This is a blended learning course. Students will have to study for 11 hours online and take 4 hours of classes in total. The course topics can be found by visiting the Pineda Foundation virtual classroom.
