The IESF teaches a training course on family support in Warsaw

Montserrat Gas, director of the Institute for Advanced Family Studies (IESF), and María Pilar Lacorte, assistant director of the Institute’s postgraduate studies, taught a training course in the town of Boża Wola, on 28, 29 and 30 October

This intensive course, taught to a group of around 50 education professionals, offered some sociological and anthropological keys to understanding family dynamics in the current context. Gas and Lacorte presented the tools for improving support to families from different areas, as well as in education, pastoral care and new technologies, among other fields.

This training course introduces the broader content of the Postgraduate Course in Family Coaching and Guidance taught by the IESF since 2022. The postgraduate course is aimed at all people interested in supporting families.

The purpose of this studies is to train students in specific attitudes and methodologies to activate internal and external resources of the relationship dynamics in the individual, the couple and the family. Additionally, these studies seek to develop the skills needed to overcome the difficulties and conflicts that families must face their family’s life cycle.
