Oscar Cumí, an expert in marketing for ‘influencers’ gives a session for Advertising students

Final year Advertising and Public Relations students attended a session with Oscar Cumí, an expert in marketing for ‘influencers’.  As part of the Advertising Agency subject, Cumí talked about his experience of setting up a business, from the business idea right the way through to the end.

As part of the subject Advertising Agencies and Public Relations, taught by professors Alfonso Méndiz and Zahaira González, students were given the opportunity to find out about the experience of creating and managing a company that specialises in digital marketing; SEM and SEO positioning and marketing for microinfluencers.

Due to hearing about this experience, students were able to observe a different type of Advertising Agency which, in the words of Oscar Cumí: “are currently at a pivotal moment and fragmented communication from microinfluencers is becoming more important, instead of one single large influence being used”.

Oscar Cumí is a founding member of BIM BAM ROI. He focused his session on describing the experience of setting up a company, from creating his business idea all the way through to the acquisition of his company by Einstein and Monroe.
