Three students receive the UC Berkeley 2025 grant to study at the Summer Sessions in California

UIC Barcelona has selected 3 of the 18 applications that have been submitted in the call. The grants have been awarded to Medicine student Paula Olivella, Mercè Prats of the Bachelor's Degree in Law, and Julianna Franshezka, student of Advertising and Public Relations.

The selected students have been awarded €2,000 by UIC Barcelona and will be able to take various subjects at the University of California, Berkeley, during a period of between three and six weeks during the summer.

The UIC Barcelona programme that awards the Berkeley grants has a competitive selection process that takes into account the academic record of the candidate, as well as a personal interview completed by each applicant.

These students will have the opportunity to complete an international stay in Berkeley, one of the world’s top-ranked universities.

UIC Barcelona has an agreement with this renowned institution that allows students to validate the subjects of their degree at the University. This call was open to students from all the faculties of UIC Barcelona.
