The EduCare 5.0 Alliance is a joint European project between nine European universities whose aim is to promote health education through digital transformation and sustainable innovation and which is centred around person care.
Present at the meeting were Eduardo Mirpuri, vice-rector for International Relations, and Mònica Luque, European Alliances and Projects manager, whose goal was to strengthen networking with partner universities, learn more about the institutions comprising the Alliance and further prepare the upcoming European call for proposals HORIZON-WIDERA-2025-01-ACCESS-01: European Excellence Initiative (EEI).
The following universities are members of the EduCare 5.0 Alliance: Hochschule Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI; Germany), FH Salzburg (Austria), Klaipedos Valstybine Kolegija (KVK; Lithuania), Egas Moniz (Portugal), Medical University of Lublin (Poland), University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” in Iasi (Romania), Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (Czech Republic), Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Saúde do Tâmega e Sousa (ESTeSTS; Portugal) and UIC Barcelona (Spain).
As part of this network, UIC Barcelona reaffirms its commitment to European cooperation and to promoting innovative, sustainable, collaborative and person-centred health education.
