Juan Gaitán, a graduate from the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, has been selected as one of twelve emerging designers to showcase his lamp collection at the Hábitat Valencia trade fair – an international event within the Spanish industry that brings together projects in lighting, decoration and interior design.

The 2025 Alumni Awards recognised former students Pol Ricart (Medicine) with the award for Best Social Transformation Project for his initiative MedBrain Global; Jordi Aranega (Business Administration and Management) with the award for Professional Career Achievement; and the architecture studio Arquitectura-G with the award for an institution founded or led by an alumni member. The event featured a keynote speech by Dr Mario Alonso Puig and performances by Pol Oñate and SuperArte of the Sifu Foundation.
