Four students from UIC Barcelona have been selected for the CYD Foundation 2022 Mentor Programme

Now in its eighth edition, the programme connects students at the end of their university studies with the best executives in Spain.

Laura Martí, Laura Pardo and Oriol Blanco from the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Law, and Gemma Moreno, from the Faculty of Communication Sciences, will be among the twenty-four students from all over Spain who were selected from over a hundred applications received.

The students from the Faculty of Law will participate in mentorships with top executives: Laura Martí will be mentored by Rafael Fontana, president of Cuatrecasas; Laura Pardo will be mentored by Guillermo Vidal, partner at Cuatrecasas; and Oriol Blanco will be mentored by Carlos Manubens, managing director of Inmoecological S.L. and founder and managing partner of Maubens Advocats. Communication Sciences student Gemma Moreno will be mentored by Alfonso Rodés, president of Havas Group Spain.

In operation since 2014, the CYD Mentor Programme aims to tighten and strengthen ties between universities and the corporate sector. A total of 228 students and 88 mentors have endorsed the effectiveness of the experience as a support for decision-making, developing professional networks and enhancing new skills.
