GRE- Drets, Agenda 2030 i Recuperació Sostenible a Catalunya (RESCAT 2030)

The RESCAT-2030 research group aims to study relevant legal aspects of sustainable recovery in Catalonia. The research is carried out in terms of the four sustainability concepts of the United Nations 2030 Agenda (social, institutional, economic and environmental). The methodological approach is essentially a legal one with a focus on the social sciences.

The group collaborates with renowned legal experts in the field of sustainability. One of the main milestones of the research is the creation of an Observatory for Sustainable Recovery of Catalonia (RESCAT), to monitor legal means for the development, implementation and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals identified by the 2030 Agenda. Such research also requires the parallel contextualization, incorporation and employment of the principle tools for human rights.
