GRC - Análisis de la Identidad Narrativa Audio-visual-textual (AINA)

Cross-sectional and transdisciplinary group examining the narratives that construct silenced, ignored or stigmatised identities. Advances in areas such as social networks or smartphones have led to accessibility, visibility and agency that was previously unthinkable for these vulnerable groups. The group shares a common interest in the narratives of patients, caregivers, the grieving, heroes and antiheroes. It also focusses on those stories that deserve to be made visible, from women in STEM professions to anonymous musicians. The examining of equal opportunities is developed with the use of role-models that encourage self-perception without stigma. This research is carried out with quantitative, qualitative methodologies and mixed methods, with a special interest in the analysis of the narratives (image, sound and text) with which identities are constructed, the sociological and cultural context in which they arise, and the ethical questions they pose.
